There are two ways to lock out
the meter. One by setting the locks in the main menu and the other by setting
the internal lock jumper. If your meter reads "Loc 1" when you press any
key then you just need to unlock the meter in the main menu. If your meter does
not respond to any buttons pushed, then it is necessary to check the internal
jumper. The picture below shows the positioning of the lock jumper (make sure
there is no power when opening the meter). To change the locks in the main menu
press the left Menu button, "Loc 1" will then appear. Press the
Peak button and change the menu lock to '00000' (see Entering Numbers). Once your have changed the menu
value you can reenter the menus you unlocked. What each digit in each lock
represents is listed below. |
