We are pleased to extend the terms of NET 30 days to all customers who have already established a satisfactory credit account with FUTEK Advanced Sensor Technology. New accounts will be processed on a pre-paid basis while credit is being established. International accounts will also be processed on a pre-paid basis. All orders are subject to final acceptance by FUTEK Advanced Sensor Technology. Prices are USA fund, F.O.B. origin, and are subject to change without notice.
Confirmations
All orders require a confirmation before shipment of products. When placing orders please include:
- FUTEK Advanced Sensor Technology model numbers and/or part number, and description of products ordered.
- Name & phone number of both the purchasing agent, and a technical contact should be provided so that questions concerning the order can be easily resolved without unnecessarily delaying processing and shipment.
- Billing & Shipping address.
- Purchase order number.
- Accounts payable contact name and phone number.
- Unless otherwise specified, all domestic shipments will ship UPS third day (orange) except for a few pacific states.

Online Shopping
How do I find a sensor product using a Stock Number (usually starts with 3 letters and followed by 5 digits, such as FSH00001, GOD00001 and MCP00001)?
You can enter a FUTEK Stock Number into any available search field and our search engine will bring up the related product. In Screenshot A, FSH01765 is entered in the “small white window” next to “search” Button. In the subsequent screen (Screenshot B), you will see how the appropriate product is retrieved. The navigation path on the product and services page also indicates the resulting stock number.
What are the quick search filters?
Quick search filters include two quick filters based on capacity or the category of the product type. They help to narrow down your search.
What are the advanced search filters?
The advanced search filters are there to help those who wish to search for a product based on critical elements such as: critical dimensions, material or price.
Can these filters work together?
Absolutely! The search filters will help you drill down towards the precise model you are looking for. With each filter selection you make, your sensor options become more precise, ultimately leading you to towards a small selection of products.
Do I have to configure a system?
No. Configuring a system helps but it is not mandatory.
Can I add instruments and services to my sensor order?
Yes. After selecting the sensor, you will be given a list of instruments that can be used with this sensor. Find the instrument you need and enter the quantity you require. Then you will be asked to select the services that apply to this instrument and your system. After selecting, click Continue to go to cart. To abandon your selection, please click Cancel Configuration.
Can I add accessories?
Yes. Please go to the Accessories section in Product & Services to find the accessories you need and then add to cart.
My Cart
Will all my shopping items show in one location?
Yes. All the items you added to cart will show in My Cart, with quantity, unit price and subtotal. You have the option to: Change Quantity, Modify Package (re-configuration) and Remove.
What is Change Quantity?
By clicking on Change Quantity, you are given the option of changing the quantity of each item within the package you configured. If you have only selected the sensor, it will change the quantity of this sensor only.
What is Modify Package?
By clicking on Modify Package, you are given the option to re-configure the package related to this sensor. You will go through the configuration process again to select instruments and services.
What is Remove?
By clicking on Remove, you will remove the whole package related to this sensor.
What is a Tax & Shipping Estimator?
It estimates the amount of Tax and Shipping cost related to the shipping destination, the order size and the shipping methods. Tax will apply to all California customers, unless the product is for resale and you have the resale certificate. Please go to your Account Profile in Login to update your address and your resale number. The estimator only gives a close estimation, and the actual cost of shipping and tax will be further calculated once you proceed to order.
How does Futek estimate the tax?

How does Futek estimate the Shipping Cost?
We estimate the shipping cost per your order size and destination. The estimator only gives a close estimation, and the actual cost will be calculated further once you proceed to order.
Can I use my own shipping account?
Yes. If you have a shipping account with us, please enter the account number and carrier during the checkout process so that the shipping cost will be charged to your account.
Who will be the Shipping Carrier?
FUTEK will use the carrier that we believe offers the best value and delivery to our customers. If you have a shipping account and want to use that account, we will use your designated carrier for your order. Please enter Shipping Account # once you proceed to order.
Can I add Insurance to my order?
Yes. Once you Proceed to Order, you will be given the option of adding insurance to the order in Preferences. The insurance is based on the total value of your order (shipping and tax not included).
Who do I contact to check the status of my order?
Please contact your account manager, or anyone in our sales department at (949) 465-0900 to check the status of your order.
Can I purchase sensors online?
Absolutely! The new FUTEK web release allows all our registered users to purchase their required products online.
Is there a minimum spending requirement for online shopping?
No! As long as you have selected a minimum quantity of 1, you can go ahead and place an order.
Is there a maximum spending limitation for an order?
No, there is no maximum amount. For a blanket order or scheduled order, please call us at 1-800-23-FUTEK or (949)465-0900 for a special quote.
Is there a minimum quantity for an order?
Yes. A minimum selection of 1 product or service must be selected for an order to be placed.
Is there an order maximum quantity?
There is no maximum limitation but we do recommend our high volume customers to contact us for their first order.
Can I change the order information online once an order has been placed?
No. Once the order has been placed, it can only be cancelled or changed by contacting Futek. This may result in cancellation fees, please call us for details.

Does FUTEK offer any discounts?
Depending on the size order and product line, it is possible to receive discounts on orders. These discounts can only be given by contacting our sales department.
Can I place an order through a representative/reseller?
What shipping options do I have?
FUTEK will ship to anywhere in the world (and by anywhere, we mean anywhere a reliable postal carrier is willing to ship to). Shipping methods include: ground, expedited 3 day, expedited 2 day, expedited next day for shipment within US; Economy and Expedited for shipping to other countries and regions. Our carriers include FedEx, USPS, UPS, and DHL.
Does FUTEK ship internationally?
Yes. We offer Economy and Expedited options for International shipment. UPS is our designated carrier for countries and regions outside of US.
What products do FUTEK offer?
FUTEK carries a wide selection of Load Cells, Force Sensors, Torque Sensors, Pressure Sensors, OEM Sensors, Custom Sensors, Signal Conditioners, Digital Displays, Analog Displays, Sensor Systems, VCalTM Sensor Verification System, Sensor and Instrument Calibrations, System Calibrations, and Repair Services. These products can also be custom designed to fit your needs.
What services does FUTEK offer?
FUTEK offers calibration services, including repair or recalibration. FUTEK also provides services for machining or strain gauge design.
What’s the quick add feature in the cart?
The quick add allows users who know their FSH # to quickly insert it into the cart without browsing under our products and service page. This is ideal for repeat customers who order the same parts.

How do I place an online order?
To place an online order, the first step is to create an account with FUTEK. Once your account has been created you begin placing an order (the function to create a quote is identical).
For this example, we will use FUTEK’s LSB200 (100 gram capacity, #4-40 Thread) as our selected sensor to purchase. Part 1 of this exercise will discuss the various ways you can find this particular model. If you are already familiar with how our search engine works, please proceed to part 2, where we will discuss how to place the order once a product has been selected.
Part 1: Finding your product
Stock Number
As mentioned in the introduction, we will spend part 1 on how to properly use the search features. In our example, we selected to look for the LSB200 (100 gram capacity, #4-40 Thread).
The easiest way to find your product is to enter the stock number of the product (this number begins with the code of FSH, MCP or GOD). Typically, our repeat customers and representatives utilize this feature as it directs you quickly to the desired part. The stock number for the LSB200 (100 gram capacity, #4-40 Thread) is: FSH00089
This stock number can be entered into the search field on the top right portion of our web page (Diagram A).
It does not matter which section of our website you visit, as this search feature is available on all sections. Once you press “enter” or click on the search button, our database will locate the precise product that is related to the stock number. In this case, the LSB200 100 gram page will appear (Diagram B1 and B2)
You can also add products to your shopping cart by simply entering in the stock number in the “My Cart” page. The “my cart” link is located on the top right section of the website as shown in Diagram C
Once you are on the “my cart” page, you enter the stock number in the field search provided and press “enter” or click on the “add” button. This will automatically add the product to your shopping cart. Please keep in mind that the quantity is automatically set at 1 and the product is not modified. However, these options can be easily adjusted with the “modify package” or “change quantity” feature.
Filters
The alternative option for finding a specific model is using the search filters. The search filters are divided into two categories: Quick and Advanced. The quick filters will sort through available models through a category description, capacity requirement, or load direction. The advanced filters provide more choices such as critical dimensions, prices, cables, materials, etc. The search filters will help you drill down towards the precise model you are looking for. With each filter selection you make, your sensor options become more precise, ultimately leading you to towards a small selection of products.
Example: If we select the quick search filter “100 grams”, the search filter will display 2 models, the LRM200 and the LSM200
Part 2: Ordering
- Once you have successfully located the product you would like to order, you will need to specify the quantity required and press the “buy” button.
- After the quantity has been specified, you may be provided with the option of adding an instrument (you may not always have this option). Should you require an instrument, you will need to verify the quantity and press “continue”. If you do not wish to order any instruments, you need to leave the quantity fields as “0”.
- Once you select an instrument, you will also be offered the option of adding a service to your configuration (you may not always have this option). Services include calibration options that FUTEK provides. Once again, you will need to specify the quantity required. If you do not want a service added to the configuration, make sure the quantity fields remain at “0”.
- Following the service option you will be offered the related “accessories” (you may not always have this option). Similar to the previous menus, you will be asked to select a quantity. To continue without any accessories, you will need to leave the quantity field “0”.
- Once you press continue, a “Configuration Preview” screen will appear to show the full system you have created. If you need to change any fields, pressing the “back” button will allow you to go back and make changes. If you press “continue”, the package is successfully added to your cart.
- Finally you will reach the “My Cart” page where you will see your product (completely configured per your request) shown with estimated tax and shipping costs. You may continue to add additional parts (“keep shopping” feature), clear your cart (removes all parts), or to place an order/quote.
- As you select “proceed to order”, the Log In page will appear asking for your user name (e-mail) and password.
- As you log in, the ship to, bill to addresses, payment type, preferences, and order summary will appear. Here are a few things to keep in mind
- For your payment process: net 30 customers have to be approved before they are granted this option
- Your order total includes the shipping and handling cost
- Once you click submit, your order will be processed by our Sales Team and appear in your “Account Overview” (located on the My Futek tab on the left hand side).
