IHH300-Series Limit Setup
 
Using Limits:
The limits function allows you to enter set-point values, when these values are reached the meter will sound an alarm. There are two methods to enter limits, either as percent of the default value or as upper and lower limit boundaries.

Quick Start
1. Press the Limits key once to turn on the limits.
2. Press the Limits key again to turn off the limits.

Method 1 (% of default)
1. Press the Mode and Units key at the same time.
2. Press the Next key until "tolerance" is displayed on the screen.
3. Press the Save key to select the tolerance function.
4. Press the Next key until "On %" is displayed.
5. Press the Save key to select the percent method.
6. Enter the % value (01-99%) with the Increase (+) key to increment the flashing digit and the Next (>) key to select the digit
7. Press the Save key to save your selection.
8. Press and hold the Limits key. The meter will prompt you to enter your target tolerance. Enter your ‘target tolerance’.

The target tolerance is the default value that you would like the percentage entered to apply to. For example if your target tolerance is set at 5.00 and your percentage at 10% then the alarm will go off at 4.5 since it is a 10 % deviation from the target tolerance.
9. Press Save when you are done entering the target tolerance.
10. The meter will be in the run mode. To turn on the limits press the Limits key.

Method 2 (upper/lower boundaries)
1. Press the Mode and Units key at the same time.
2. Press the Next key until "tolerance" is displayed on the screen.
3. Press the Save key to select the tolerance function.
4. Press the Next key until the up/down arrows are displayed.
5. Press the Save key to select the high/low method.
6. The meter will return to the run mode.
7. Press and hold the Limits key
8. Enter in the low limit here.

9. Press Save to store your value
10. Enter in the high limit here.
(How to Enter Numbers..)
11. Press Save, and the meter will return to the run mode.
12. To turn on the limits press the Limit key

Your limit functions are now ready to use.
