IHH300-Selecting Setting Options

Selecting Mode Settings:
There are three modes of operation for this meter, 'peak', 'track', or 'fpeak'. The 'track' mode displays the input from the sensor. The 'peak' mode only displays the peak input value. If the input value is less then the displayed value then the meter will hold the previous peak value. The meter will only change when the input value is higher then the previous peak value. The 'fpeak' (first peak) value will capture the first peak value. This could be used to capture the click point of a micrometer torque wrench and disregard further input. To change modes:
1. Press the Mode key until 'peak', 'track' or 'fpeak' appears.
2. Press the Save key to save your desired mode.

Selecting Units for the Meter:
1. Press the Units key until the arrow points to the desired units.
2. Press the Save key to save your desired units.
NOTE: When you change the units of measure the limit values will be re-set to zero.

Selecting Filter Settings:
The filters are used to ‘screen’ out any noise from vibration that may be input from external sources. The greater the filter the more stable the input however the slower the response to inputs.
1. Press both the Mode and Units keys together.
2. Press the Next key until 'filter' appears.
3. Press the Save key.
4. Press the Next key until the desired filter is shown.
5. Press the Save key to store your selection.

Selecting the Display Clearing Method:
1. Press both the Mode and Units keys together.
2. Press the Next key until 'auto reset' appears.
3. Press the Save key to select 'auto reset'.
4. Press the Next key until the desired option is shown (listed below).
5. Press the Save key to store your selection.
Options:
"Auto" the meter will automatically clear the display when a new cycle begins
"Off" the user must use the Clear key to clear the meter.
"1..9" the time in seconds before the display clears itself
