This meter is set up to read sensors that have a ‘smart chips’. With this feature
the meter will automatically read the sensor information; this includes the rated
output and the capacity. If your transducer has a ‘smart chip’ the top of the display
will show 'Auto Xdcer' when you are viewing the transducer information. Although a
‘smart chip’ is useful it is not necessary in order to utilize this meter. Direction on how to configure the meter when not using a 'smart chip' are listed in the directions table.
