The correct setup of this meter series is essential to the operation of the meter. The
incoming signal should be hooked up to pins 1 and 2. The –Excitation wire from
the sensor connects to pin 3, while the +Excitation wire connects to pin 4. Also
essential to the setup is the power connection. The black and white wires from
the power cord should be connected to pins 11 and 12. It is not necessary to
connect the green wire (ground) to the meter.
There are also optional connections for various
uses. Pins 7, 8, 9, and 10 are relay connections that can be used for alarm
outputs. Pins 5 and 6 can be used for two different output functions, an analog
output or a printer output.
