IPM520 Series Special Features

The main functions here are to program the F1-F4 keys. Select one of the "F1-4 SeT" functions in order to set that specific button. Press ENTER to acquire a list of functional options for that particular key.

Setting a Tare:
A common set up is to set the F1 key as a Tare 1. This will allow you to reset the meter to zero while in the run mode. To do this enter the SPEC menu and scroll to "F1 Set", press ENTER, then scroll to "TarE 1" and press ENTER. The display will then jump back to the main menu. Here you can select SPEC again to program the other F keys.

Setting F-Keys:
Below is a complete list of functions that can be programmed for the F-keys:
F-Key Controls
PEAk 1 Assigns programmed peak function to F-keys
tArE 1 Assigns tare functions to F-keys
SCALE2 Assigns F-key to initiate 2nd scaling to be applied

"CHAn" will then appear, press ENTER. Press SELECT until the display reads "CHAn 3", the display will then read "TyPE", press SELECT to choose a function. "CHAn 1" or "CHAn 2" to see that channels raw input count. "Add" to sum channels 1 and 2, "Sbu" to view the difference between channels 1 and 2, or "Div" to divide channels 1 and 2.
