Introduction:
All of the options in the Comparison menu refer to various setting for the limits. Limits allow the user to enter in set limit values. When the input is greater or less then these set limit values then the limit outputs are turned on. Each limit has an output that is associated with it (see Setup), this output is a normally open however when the corresponding limit is reached the output is turned ‘on’ and the connection is closed. This menu contains the various features and settings available for the limits.

Setting the Limits:
There are two ways to set the limits, one from the run mode and one from the setup mode. When in the run mode and at the COMP screen simply press the limit you wish to set, enter in the numerical value and press OK. You can also press the MODE button (from either the COMP, HOLD or GRAPH modes), select the ‘COMPARISON’ menu and then select the limit you wish to set. The displayed reading (not exceeding the limits) will appear in green on the screen. When the input value has exceeded the LO or HI limits the reading will be in yellow and when the input has exceeded the LO-LO or the HI-HI limits the reading will be in red (pictured). It is possible to change the color of the numerical reading from the three colors to only the yellow color by touching the actual numbers on the screen
