CSG110 SPAN & ZERO ADJUSTMENT

Once all connections are complete you can begin to setup the sensor/amplifier system. You will need to connect the output of the CSG110 to a Digital Multi Meter (DMM) to read voltage or current.

First apply a zero load to your amplifier. Null out the zero reading or take note of the voltage or current being displayed. Apply your full scale load depending on the range chosen. Now adjust the span potentiometer to adjust the output to either 10 VDC or 20 mA. If the DMM does not have a Null function simply add your original zero with either the 10 VDC or 16mA (example if your original zero is 0.022V then adjust the span to read 10.022). Set the load back to zero load and Null the DMM or take note of the voltage or current reading. Repeat the above process until your span no longer changes. After the span is adjusted, readjust the zero potentiometer.

NOTE: Adjustments to the Span and Zero are made buy using a fine pitch screwdriver to adjust the Span and Zero pots.
