It was extremely challenging to design multiple cryogenic sensors to meet MIT's, Jet Propulsion Labs, and NASA's space program requirements. The team spent months overcoming the multiple challenges in designing a sensor capable of monitoring the forces exerted by the drill of a Mars Robot under Martian atmospheric conditions and not fail. Our team was pushed to the edge when we had to design a sensor for a subsea torque system using a custom submersible torque sensor. The team almost gave up when we were asked to build a sensor to monitor the liquid separation forces in space but did not. Starting at a capacity range of 10 grams it goes up to 100 lbs in the same 0.75" package making it ideal for environments where space is limited. With over 10,000 units sold, this model has a very impressive and spotless record in customer satisfaction. The LSB200 design features Overload Protection and is available with USB output for true plug and play applications. Starting September 1st, 2009, we will begin offering our new "No Risk Life Time Warranty" to all our customers on this model. FUTEK offers a Risk Free Lifetime Warranty covering all manufacturing defects for all Standard and In Stock LSB200 S-Beam Jr. Sensor products sold beginning September 1, 2009 to all customers globally.

For further peace of mind, FUTEK offers a 1 year period for customers to return units should it fail to meet the project requirements with the option of a replacement unit or a full refund. Naturally, the parts need to be in good condition for returns.

There are no exclusions on this warranty as long as your LSB200 is ordered from stock and is considered a standard product. Any modifications or custom changes made to the model, cover, or cable would be considered a non-standard product.

FUTEK is not liable for any collateral or consequential damages resulting from the use of our sensors, whether they are operating properly or not. FUTEK's sole liability shall be the value of the sensor which will be covered under normal warranty policies. “Manufacturing Defects” excludes failures resulting from customer misuse of the sensors, overloading, physical damage and abuse as determined by FUTEK's evaluation of the returned sensor. FUTEK may exercise this warranty by replacing or repairing the covered sensors, at its option on manufacturing defects. This warranty is not applicable to Instruments, Services or Accessories.
