Privacy Policy

FUTEK Advanced Sensor Technology, Inc. (FUTEK) is committed to protecting the information of contacts who access the FUTEK Website (Website), order Services on the Website, or use our Software Products. This policy is intended to help you understand how our company collects, uses and safeguards the information you provide to FUTEK, but it does not apply to the use or disclosure of information that is collected or obtained by us through other means.

This Privacy Policy is subject to and incorporates by reference our Terms of Use.

Types of Data We Collect.

"Personal Data" means data that allows someone to identify or contact you, including, for example, your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, as well as any other non-public information about you that is associated with or linked to any of the foregoing data.

With respect to the data collected in the European Economic Area, Personal Data also means IP addresses and geolocation information.

Information You Provide to Us.
  • We may collect Personal Data from you, such as your first and last name, gender, e-mail and mailing addresses, professional title, company name, and password when you create an account.
  • When you order Services on the Website, FUTEK or a third-party service provider will collect all information necessary to complete the transaction, including your name, credit card information, billing information and shipping information.
  • When you use our Software Products, including but not limited to, SENSIT Test and Measurement Software, FUTEK or a third-party service provider may collect Personal Data and Anonymous Data, including usage information and computer hardware specifications.
  • If you provide us feedback or contact us via e-mail or chat, we will collect your name and e-mail address, as well as any other content included in the e-mail, in order to send you a reply.
Information Collected via Technology.
  • To make our Website and services more useful to you, our servers (which may be hosted by a third-party service provider) collect information from you, including your browser type, operating system, Internet Protocol (IP) address (a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you use the Internet, which may vary from session to session), domain name, and/or a date/time stamp for your visit.
  • We may collect, and we allow third parties to collect, information about how you use and interact with our Website and services. For example, we use Google Analytics, Olark Live Chat, and Sales Force by Pardot.

We maintain reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards designed to help us protect your nonpublic Personal Information against loss, misuse, disclosure and alteration. When you establish an account at FUTEK, you choose a password to help protect your account information. A password is only as strong as you make it: you should select a unique password and keep it safe. You may change your password as often as you wish.

While we endeavor to use reasonable efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of your information, the Internet is not totally secure. Due to the possibility of transmission errors, hacking or other unauthorized third-party activities, we cannot guarantee that data related to the services will remain secure. The services are not intended for use by, and FUTEK does not intend to collect personal information from, children under 13 years of age. Children under 13 years of age are directed not to use the services, whether to submit personal information or otherwise. Some of the services contain links to Websites or other content sources which are not under the control of FUTEK. Changes to this Privacy Policy

FUTEK may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time as it deems necessary in its sole discretion. If there are material changes to this Privacy Policy, FUTEK will provide notice where and in the manner required by applicable law, including but not limited to, through the Website via a notice on the main page and a notice in the Privacy Policy indicating the date last modified. Your continued use of the Website after notice of any amended Privacy Policy shall constitute your agreement to be bound by such changes. Any changes to this Privacy Policy take effect immediately after being notified by FUTEK.

FUTEK is a global brand and thus may conduct business with individuals from within the European Economic Area (EEA).
