FUTEK’s ZAC150 tension base plate is removable and can be attached to the bottom of the LCF450 and LCF451 Load Cell (Thread 5/8-18 UNF-3B and M16 x 2-4H). This allows the load cell to be used in applications for tension or in a pulling downward motion. When the plate is removed, the load cell can only be used in compression type applications. FUTEK’s tension base plates are made from 17-4ph Stainless Steel as well as 6061-T6 Anodized Aluminum material. FUTEK tension base plates may be offered for Load Cells of up to 400,000 lb. capacity.
