Model QLA246 is a custom cryogenic inline load cell that is designed to measure forces up to ~56.2 lbs (250 N). It is also designed to be vacuum compatible/low outgassing compliant to ASTM E595 standards. The loading surface features ¼-28-2B female threads on both sides of the sensor, allowing it to be used in both tension and compression. It includes a 5-ft (1.5 m) long braided shielded Teflon cable, with built-in strain relief for durability. It offers an compensated and operating temperature range of -80 to 40 C (-112 to 104 °F) and is constructed of stainless steel.
