Application Use
The LSB200 Miniature S-Beam Jr.® Load Cell is a miniature, low-capacity and fatigue rated sensor designed for tension/compression test and measurement applications. LSB200 can be configured with optional accessories such as load plates, buttons, hooks, and thread adapters, delivering seamless integration and adaptability across a range of applications.
Design
The LSB200 is designed for low capacity, high precision applications. Its compact size and light weight allow for easy integration into space-constrained setups without adding significant bulk. It features a flexure made from 2024-T4 aerospace-grade aluminum alloy, selected for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and fatigue resistance. This material provides the durability needed for applications where weight reduction is critical, without compromising on strength.
The FUTEK LSB line utilizes an S shape design with physical overload protection to dramatically improve durability, precision, and safety. This sensor features a 1000% overload stop for tension and compression, reducing the risk of mechanical breakage by preventing deflection and yield.
This customized version of the LSB200 is a vacuum-compatible, low-outgassing load cell, ensuring accurate performance in vacuum environments while minimizing the risk of contamination in your chamber or space.
