Product Description Model LCF455 is a Pancake Load Cell (Tension Base) designed for tension and compression applications. The low profile design offsets most off-axis loads making the “pancake” type a very popular selection. The LCF455 Pancake Load Cell (Tension Base) is comparable to the LCF450 but this model comes with a tension base, making it suitable for Inline applications on Actuators or Threaded Assemblies. The Pancake Load Cell (Tension Base) has a very robust construction available in Anodized Aluminum for lower capacities (500 lb – 2,000 lb) and 17-4 Stainless Steel for higher capacities (300 lbs and 5,000 lbs -10,000 lbs). You will also find options for Metric Threads, Fatigue Rating and Amplified Version readily available.
The Pancake Load Cell (Tension Base) uses metal foil strain gauge technology offering excellent accuracy. It has Nonlinearity of ±0.1% and Deflection of 0.002” to 0.005” nominal. The standard LCF455 Pancake Load Cell (Tension Base) can be modified or customized to meet your requirements and most capacities are in our inventory, making them available for quick delivery. Similar to our entire Load Cell product line this model is manufactured in US.

Intelligent Digital Hand Held Display The IHH500 Hand Held Portable Digital Display is FUTEK’s solution that can be easily integrated to work with Load Cells, Torque Sensors and Pressure Sensors. The IHH500 has an input range of up to +/-500 mV/V. Beside the mV/V input, device accepts amplified output sensors in range of ± 12 VDC or up to 30 mA. It also has two individual relays and two Analog voltage and Analog current output. This device provides additional 24 VDC / 5VDC as power supply for sensors with built-in amplifier. FUTEK’s Hand Held display also supports TEDS which makes it easy to switch between different sensors. A high speed/ low noise/ high resolution (24 bits) ADC is integrated in the device to make it suitable for high accuracy measurements. The IHH500 uses rechargeable battery with long life time.
