FUTEK’s TFF Flange to Flange Torque Sensor Series utilize metal foil strain gauge technology, achieving optimum accuracy. Measurements can be made in clockwise and counter clockwise direction. In the illustrated application, FUTEK’s TFF was used to measure the break torque of an exercise machine for Johnson Health Tech. The company is a manufacturer of indoor exercise machines such as indoor bikes, elliptical machines and treadmills. FUTEK Torque sensors assisted their engineering testing facility to convert rotary torque into a reacion torque on rotating systems in these various types of machines. In the following application a FUTEK TFF sensor is being used to detect the breaking torque of the generator seen.
