Compact and high performing with overload protection

LSB352 is a compact load cell with high accuracy and an integrated overload stop. Made of high-quality stainless steel, it features female threads.

The force sensor is available in capacities between 500 and 1000lb and has a wide operating temperature range, making it suitable for a large variety of applications. This model is also available in versions that have vacuum compatibility, higher IP rating, and high-temperature compensation.

Compact package

With dimensions of only 3in × 1in × 2in (76.2mm × 25.4mm × 50.8mm) and a weight of only 1.28lb (580g), the highly compact LSB352 sensor can be used in applications where other sensors of similar capacity just won’t fit because of size constraints.

Overload protection

The LSB352 is rated for 5x overload protection for tension and compression. The unique overload stop design protects the sensor from damage during accidental overload. It also decreases the risk of mechanical breakage and yield as the overload stop helps to stop the part from deflecting, which prevents the metal from going into its yield state.

Highly accurate

The LSB352 delivers a highly accurate performance with a deflection of 0.01in nominal and nonlinearity at 0.006in and 0.01in.

Excellent thermal performance

LSB352 provides reliable performance over a wide temperature range of –40 to 200°F (–40 to 93°C). The excellent thermal performance allows you to use the sensor in various applications and environments.

Plug in, plug out

Some LSB352 sensor models come with a high-quality 4-pin Lemo connector which allows for easy and simple cable connection and disconnection. A damaged sensor cable can be replaced without having to replace or disassemble the LSB352 sensor or any other system component, which saves time, leads to higher system availability, and reduces the total cost of ownership. It also simplifies the installation process, reducing installation time and maximizing uptime.

The LSB352 is made from aerospace-grade 17-4 precipitation hardened stainless steel, one of the best material options for load cells. It provides high strength, high hardness, and corrosion resistance over a wide temperature range.

Calibration included

The LSB352 has been tested by FUTEK’s world-class calibration department and is NIST traceable. We can also reduce hidden costs and setup time by calibrating your sensor with FUTEK electronics of your choice. In addition, we offer calibration to ANSI Z540-1 and ISO 17025 standards upon request.
