Description

Model LCF455 is a Pancake Load Cell (Tension Base) designed for tension and compression applications. The low profile design offsets most off-axis loads making the “pancake” type a very popular selection. The LCF455 Pancake Load Cell (Tension Base) is comparable to the LCF450 but this model comes with a tension base, making it suitable for Inline applications on Actuators or Threaded Assemblies. The Pancake Load Cell (Tension Base) uses metal foil strain gauge technology offering excellent accuracy. It has Nonlinearity of ±0.1% and Deflection of 0.001” to 0.004” nominal. The standard LCF455 Pancake Load Cell (Tension Base) can be modified or customized to meet your requirements and most capacities are in our inventory, making them available for quick delivery. 


Dual Bridge Load Cells, also known as a dual channel load cells are designed to meet the high demands of critical applications in aerospace, medical and others. Equipped with two independent Wheatstone bridges, each fitted with strain gauges, this dual bridge load cell offers unparalleled redundancy and safety features.

With its dual output feature, this load cell not only provides control feedback from one sensor but also allows for data acquisition from the other, ensuring continuous and reliable force measurement and control. Additionally, dual channel load Cels are calibrated to the highest standards of accuracy, with NIST traceable calibration and A2LA accreditation to ISO 17025.

FUTEK’s dual bridge load cell meets high levels of SIL (Safety Integrity Levels) or PL (Performance Levels), making it the ideal choice for applications where safety and reliability are of utmost importance. Its redundancy feature ensures that even in the event of a failure in one of the bridges, the load cell will continue to provide accurate load readings and maintain control over the application.
