OEM Solutions Model Specifics

Let’s start our OEM conversation here. Below you will discover several sensor models that are uniquely classified as OEM models. However, don’t let those models limit you from finding “your” solution. FUTEK can adapt or modifier almost every single sensor of ours into an OEM solution. So if you require a miniature, fatigue-rated, and/or IP-rated sensor, contact our application specialists and we will work with you to develop “your” individual solution.

Model Capabilities
Miniaturization
Space constraints always pose an issue in testing platforms. Understanding this difficulty, FUTEK designed and developed an entire series of miniature load and torque sensors to easily integrate into systems where space is limited.
Overload Protection
Several of FUTEK’s load cell models are equipped with an overload stop, which we refer to more frequently as overload protection. Our engineers included this feature to protect the functionality of sensors that may be overloaded during installation.
Capacity Range
FUTEK’s load cell capacity range extends from grams to a million pounds of force. Likewise, our torque sensors cover in-oz to 500,000 in-lb. Needless to say, FUTEK’s engineers know that the greater the capacity range the more likely you, our customer, will be able to find a solution.
Fatigue Rated
Failure is not an option, and neither is worn out sensor. FUTEK knows that certain applications call for continuous and rigorous testing. The last thing any engineer or operator wishes to experience is a sensor (exhausted) due to testing. Our quality team is very committed to ensure fatigue-rated sensors. In fact, we have been performing an internal test on an LSB302 since February 2008. To this date, this load cell has endured 700 million cycles.
Material Composition
Operating environments call for different material composition. Typically, FUTEK’s sensors are constructed out of stainless steel. However, if you require a non-magnetic material for your application, FUTEK has several models composed of Aluminum 2024-T4 and 6061-T6.
Strain Gauge Technology
Our load cells, torque sensors, pressure sensors, and multi-axis sensors all utilize Strain Gauge Technology to ensure the highest accuracy and measurement consistency. These components have been tested in rigorous environments where quality and longevity is critical.
