Rod End Load Cell

Model LCB400 is a Rod End Load Cell (Tension/Compression) designed for applications involving Inline Actuators or Hydraulic Jacks with Male/Female Threads. The standard LCB400 Rod End Load Cell (Tension/Compression) model has male/female threads, uses a lightweight 2024 Aluminum for lower capacities and a robust 17-4 Stainless Steel for the higher capacities. This model is well suited for the mid range to high range capacity requirements (1,000 lb – 10,000 lb). For any applications that require a higher capacity range, please refer to the LCB450.
Commonly industrial applications involving electric actuators require the precise measurement of the load being applied by the actuator, and thus a linear actuator with force sensor is required (e.g. force-controlled linear actuator). LCB400 load cell is suitable for direct mounting on the cylinder rod. They can, for example, be used to measure contact forces or overloads.
