Application Use
The LSB201 Miniature S-Beam Jr.® Load Cell is a high-performance sensor engineered for tension and compression testing, with proven durability through over 100 million fully reversing fatigue cycles. It can be configured with optional accessories such as load plates, buttons, hooks, and thread adapters, delivering seamless integration and adaptability across a range of applications. 

Design
The LSB201 is compact and lightweight, facilitating seamless integration into space-constrained setups without adding significant bulk. It features a flexure made from 17-4 precipitation-hardened stainless steel, chosen for its high strength, hardness, and corrosion resistance across a wide temperature range.

The FUTEK LSB line utilizes an S shape design with physical overload protection to dramatically improve durability, precision, and safety. This sensor features a 10x overload protection for tension and compression (1 to 25lb) and 2x tension overload protection (50 to 100lb) for tension and compression, reducing the risk of mechanical breakage by preventing deflection and yield.

Calibration and Customization
FUTEK’s ISO-certified calibration lab offers multiple options to ensure precision, reliability, and seamless integration with various instruments.  For customized solutions or highly specialized applications such as extreme temperatures, radiation, vacuum/low outgassing, or high vibration/shock environments, please contact FUTEK.
