LSB400 is a compact high accuracy tension and compression load cell with a robust design and construction that is available in 5000 and 10000lb capacities.
The unit is made of high-quality stainless steel material and is available in female threads. Its high capacity, performance, and accuracy levels make it suitable for applications with larger loads. This model is also available in versions that have vacuum compatibility, higher IP rating, and high-temperature compensation.
With dimensions of only 3.5in × 1.57in × 2.45in (88.9mm × 39.9mm × 62.5mm) and a weight of only 53oz (1500g), the LSB400 sensor stands out for achieving its high accuracy for such high capacities with such a small footprint.
The LSB400 delivers a highly accurate performance with a deflection starting at 0.011in and 0.020in nom and nonlinearity at 0.05%.
LSB400 provides reliable performance over a wide temperature range of –60 to 200°F (–50 to 93°C). The excellent thermal performance allows you to use the sensor in various applications and environments. Ideally, this makes it suitable for critical applications that have large temperature swings.
A high-quality 4-pin Lemo connector allows for easy and simple cable connection and disconnection. A damaged sensor cable can be replaced without having to replace or disassemble the LSB400 sensor or any other system component, which saves time, leads to higher system availability, and reduces the total cost of ownership. It also simplifies the installation process, reducing installation time and maximizing uptime.
The LSB400 is made from aerospace-grade 17-4 precipitation hardened stainless steel, one of the best material options for load cells. It provides high strength, high hardness, and corrosion resistance over a wide temperature range.

The LSB400 has been tested by FUTEK’s world-class calibration department and is NIST traceable. We can also reduce hidden costs and setup time by calibrating your sensor with FUTEK electronics of your choice. In addition, we offer calibration to ANSI Z540-1 and ISO 17025 standards upon request.
