The LAU220 Pedal Force Load Cell has become one of the most common and trusted force sensors in the Automotive Industry.  Pedal Force Sensors are designed to measure load applied to the brake, accelerator, and clutch pedals during acceleration, deceleration, and transmission shift events. From its 17-4PH Stainless Steel one piece construction, to its low profile design (Off-center loading error of <1%), the LAU220 Pedal Force Sensor offers a great force measurement system with impressive tolerances. This pedal load cell unit comes with a removable mounting plate, custom built strain relief, spike resistant, and a machined slip-resistant top surface.

  • SAE J2909: Light Vehicle Dry & Wet Stopping Distance Test Procedure (brake testing);
  • ECE R13H: Provisions for passenger cars braking;
