The USB410 is an external USB device that accepts encoder outputs (speed and angle measurements). Eliminating the need for a power supply, the USB410 provides excitation voltage for the sensor via the cable plugged into the PC. The analog output of the sensors is then digitized and processed by a microprocessor using the integrated high resolution (24 bits) analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The on-board USB device allows the microprocessor to communicate with the PC by means of the USB link. The USB integration works hand-in-hand with SENSIT™ Test and Measurement software, which allows users to monitor the actual output of the sensor in real time.
Encoder Measurements
Many rotary torque sensors have built-in encoders to measure both angle and speed. The USB410 is equip to read those inputted values at up to 150k pulses per second for speed and up to 10k pulses per rotation for angle.
Samples per Second
The USB410 can measure up to 200 samples per second while maintaining a non linearity of ± 0.005% of full-scale range.
